Nike debuted Kevin Durant’s 8th signature sneaker in 2015. Known as the Nike KD 8, the sneaker is trimmed in a low-cut style and was inspired by a saber tooth tiger. Flyweave is introduced on the sneaker and appears on the upper as the sneaker rests on a Zoom Air unit. Characteristics of a saber tooth are presented on the heel and wrap around the lower half of the sneaker and on the midsole. The Nike KD 8 released July 11, 2015 for $180.
